At about 11:08 PM, on Sunday, July 30, 2023, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to the intersection of Weldon and Quincy Streets for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by Boston EMS to a local hospital where he was pronounced. The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
