Death Investigation at Blue Hill Avenue and Washington Street, Roxbury
At about 7:47 PM, on Sunday, July 30, 2023, officers assigned to District
B-2 (Roxbury) responded to the Blue Hill Avenue and Washington Street for a
report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering
from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by Boston EMS to a local hospital
where he was pronounced.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively reviewing the facts
and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is
