BPD in the Community: About 25 young students from the Boston area were introduced to forensics as a part of Bethel Math and Science Scholars Steam Program. Officers assigned to the Crime Scene Response Unit and Crime Lab Analyists gave a hands-on demonstration on how to process a scene. The students were encouraged to make observations, use various reasoning skills, and follow the evidence. The students learned the basics of forensics and the officers enjoyed their enthusiasm.
