At about 6:10 AM, on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, officers assigned to the Youth Violence Strike Force, BPD Detectives and Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension, made an on-site warrant arrest in the area of 465 Columbus Avenue in Boston.
Officers arrested a 15-year-old juvenile male from Boston on a straight warrant issued out of Suffolk County Juvenile Court on the following charges; Delinquent to wit, Firearm, Carrying without a License, Delinquent to wit, Unlawful Possession of a Ammunition, Delinquent to wit, Firearm Discharged within 500 feet of a Building and Delinquent to wit, Defacement of Real or Personal Property.
Circumstances surrounding the arrest are as follows: At about 6:49PM on Wednesday, May, 24, 2023, officers assigned to District D-4 (South End), responded to a call for shots fired in the area of 618 Shawmut Avenue in Roxbury. Officers canvassed the area and located ballistic evidence and damage to two motor vehicles. There were no reports of any person(s) injured.
The 15-year-old juvenile suspect is expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court.
