Boston Police detectives are appealing to the public seeking information on the driver responsible for a recent hit and run incident on Massachusetts Ave and Shirley Street in Roxbury. Detectives continue to actively investigate the facts and circumstances of this incident which has left a local woman suffering from critical injuries.
On June 18, 2011 at 3:03am, officers from District C-6 responded to a radio call for a 23 year old female struck by a car at Massachusetts Ave and Shirley Street. The victim was rushed to Boston Medical Center and is currently listed in critical condition.
Witnesses described the vehicle as a gray or silver Chevy Impala with a spoiler on the rear. Detectives believe that the vehicle may have also sustained damage to the front end passenger side or passenger side mirror.
