Death Investigation at 826 Blue Hill Avenue

Around 2:38PM, officers from District D-4 (South End) responded to 771 Albany Street/Boston Medical Center for two self applied gunshot victims.
On arrival, officers confirmed that two victims, a male and a female, suffering from gunshot wounds had self-applied to BMC.
At about the same time, Boston Police Operations received a call for shots fired in the area of 826 Blue Hill Ave. in Dorchester. Investigators have determined that the incident involving the two victims originated in front of 826 Blue Hill Avenue.

The 47 year old male victim was pronounced shortly after arriving at the hospital. The 44 year old female victim is being treated for a non-life threatening injury. The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
