Early this morning around 2:02AM, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) arrested suspects, Charles Moulaison, 18 of Dorchester, Michael B. Martin, 18 of Franklin, and Amir Massey, 18 of Dorchester and charged them with two count of Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime.
Officers were initially responded to a call for a crime in progress in the area of King St. and Neponset Ave. for a two black males and a white male breaking into cars on King Street. On arrival, officers were initially unable to locate any suspects but a short while later, officers were able to locate suspect Moulaison who was held pending further investigation. A short while later, responding officers and a detail officer observed the other two suspects traveling on Sturtevant Street. Officers were able to chase down the other two suspects and detain them.
After the suspects were all detained, officers responded to the location of a witness who reported hearing a car alarm and then observing the suspects running down King Street. After running down the street, the suspect stopped again and started checking the doors of cars again at which point the witness observed the three suspects enter a car that was parked in front of 132 King Street. Officers responded to the car pointed out by the witness and confirmed that it indeed had been accessed by the suspects. In addition, officers also located another car that had been accessed by the suspects.
The three suspects were then placed under arrest and transported to the district station. At the station, officers recovered several bags of marijuana from suspect Moulaison and a number of items that potentially were stolen.
