Things that Make You Say, Hmmmmmmm….

Around 3:48AM today, officers from District A-7 (East Boston) responded to a radio call for a fight at Brooks and Saratoga Streets.
On arrival, officers spoke to a man with his hands up attempting to cover his head while another man dressed up as a woman was swinging a handbag hitting him. Officers separated the two parties and interviewed them separately. Officers spoke to the man who was getting hit and he reported that he picked up the man dressed up as a woman on Condor Street and offered him a ride. This man reported to officers that the man dressed up as man during the ride offered him sexual services while he was driving and he acquiesced but stopped him at some point because there were passing cars. The man then reported to officers that when he pulled up his pants, he noticed that all his money was gone. This individual now identified as the victim stated that when he asked the other man/suspect for his money the suspect repeatedly   told him that he did not have the money. The victim reported to officers that he pleaded with the suspect and even offered to give him some of the money to no avail. Officers then spoke to the suspect who told officers that he was waiting for a taxi when the victim offered him a ride which he accepted. However, the suspect refuted the fact that any sex took place between him and the victim. The victim reported that the suspect then began striking him with his bag when he got close to him and that is when officers arrived.

The suspect, Macking Hernadez, 28 of Chelsea was arrested and charged with Larceny over $200 and Assault and Battery by Means of a dangerous Weapon (handbag) and two outstanding warrants: one for Assault and battery and the other for Prostitution and Disorderly Conduct.
