Last night in response to community complaints of prostitution in the lower Blue Hill Avenue area (100-400 block of Blue Hill Ave.), detectives and officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) engaged in an undercover operation to arrest and thus deter individuals who frequent the area for the purpose of buying sexual services. As part of this operation, officers utilized a plain clothes female officer who posed as a prostitute. Suspects who approached the undercover officer and made an offer of money in exchange for sexual services were then arrested and charged appropriately.
The following individuals were arrested and charged with Soliciting Sex for a Fee.

1. 1.      Ernest Moffett, 56 of Boston
2. 2.      Richard Matthews, 68 of Roxbury
3. 3.      Robert Limose, 35 of Melrose
4. 4.      Larry G. Andrew, 59 of Dorchester
5. 5.      Robert Souto, 44 of Dorchester

The suspects will be arraigned Roxbury District Court today.
