At about 8:13am, on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, officers from Area C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a breaking and entering in progress at 884 Morton Street. On arrival, officers spoke to store employees who stated that when they arrived to open the store, they heard a person calling for help. Store employees located the suspect, who was physically stuck in an attempt to burglarize the store. Employees called police and officers responded to the scene to observe the suspect in the kitchen wedged between the floor boards and a freezer. The suspect was extricated by Boston Police and Boston Fire then transported to Brigham and Women\’s Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.  Suspect is listed in critical condition.
The suspect, Frandy Jean, 17, of Boston, was charged with Breaking & Entering Night Time and possession of burglarious tools.  He will be issued a summons to appear in court.
