Last night around 8:17PM, officers from District D-4 (South End) arrested suspects, Antonio H. Thomas, 46 of Boston and David St. Germain of Malden and charged them with Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicle and Receiving Stolen Property and destruction of Property.
Officers were initially dispatched to a radio call for a crime in progress at Arlington and Providence Streets and en route were given additional information about the suspects’ description. Officers proceeded to the area of the Transportation Building and there observed two individuals in the vicinity who matched the suspects’ descriptions. Officers stopped the two individuals and within a short time were able to determine that one of them had a bag with security guard uniforms that had been taken from a car in addition to a GPS system that had been stolen from a car.
The victim responded to the scene and positively identified the items that were taken from his car. Both suspects were placed under arrest and during a booking search, both were found to be in possession of burglarious tools. The GPS system was later identified by the victim of car B&E that took place earlier in the day.
