The Boston Police Department is issuing a Be On the Look Out (BOLO) for a 2002 Nissan Gray Altima bearing Massachusetts registration # 194FE7 being operated by suspect, Eric McPhail, a 23 year old black non-Hispanic male, 5’9” in height and about 145-155 lbs in weight with dreadlocks, wearing a black knit cap, brown jacket and a blue/tan hooded sweatshirt. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous and has several outstanding warrants for his arrests in addition to the charges for today’s incident which include Armed Assault with Intent to Murder..
Today’s incident was initiated in Dorchester (between 9:30AM and 9:52AM when the victims ran into District E-13) where the suspect, the victim’s ex-boyfriend, followed the victim from her home to the intersection of Blue Hill Ave. and American Legion Highway. There, the suspect rammed the victim’s car and pulled up beside her and fired shots at her car missing her and the other occupant of the car. The victim and her passenger fled to District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) where they ran inside the station to alert officers to the developing situation. While inside the station, the suspect stole the victim’s car and fled the scene.
Again, the Boston Police Department is urging anyone who sees the car or comes into contact with the suspect to immediately call 911 as the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
