DAMAGED DOOR LANDS ONE IN POLICE CUSTODY

At about 2:00am, on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, officers from Area E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to a radio call for someone banging on a door and creating a disturbance in the area of 9 Thatcher Street in Hyde Park. On arrival, officers approached the address and observed damage to the front door and a window next to the door. Further, officers could hear loud music emanating from a 2nd floor window. When officers knocked on the door, a female answered and said the individual playing the loud music was not welcome in her home. The female further stated that the suspect was her son and she was not happy with his behavior. Until she answered the door, the mother was unaware of the damage done to the door.     

Officers arrested Reginald Blaise, 22, of  Hyde Park and charged him with the Willful & Malicious Destruction of Property.
