Homicide Victim Identified

At about 11:15pm, on Monday, September 7, 2010, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to 9 Tonawanda Street in Dorchester for a person shot. On arrival, officers located an 18 year-old black male suffering life threatening injuries from an apparent gun shot. The victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced. The victim has since been identified as Hasani Andre, 18, of Boston.

The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. The Boston Police Department urges anyone with information, regardless how unimportant it may seem, to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
