Early this morning around 1:30AM, officers from District D-4 (South End) responded to 610 Columbus Ave. for individuals throwing bottles and furniture from the rooftop. It should be noted that this was the second time officers were responding to this address.

Officers arrived on scene and observed several broken bottles on the sidewalk and broken pieces of furniture on the street and sidewalk and could clearly hear noise consistent with a large party coming from the rooftop.  Officers gained entry and responded to the rooftop where they observed numerous drinking partygoers who immediately fled into apartment 6. Officers then went to the apartment and there also noticed a number of partygoers who were consuming alcoholic beverages.

Officers asked to speak to the lessee of the apartment but all persons present denied being the host. Officers after a few minutes located a male sitting in a bedroom drinking beer who admitted to being the host. Officers requested of the host identification to prove that he was of legal age to be drinking but he was unable to provide any because he was only 20 years old. The host/suspect, Christopher C. Piccaro, 20, of Boston was arrested and charged with being a Minor in Possession of Alcohol and Keeper of a Disorderly House.
