POLICE ARREST ONE FOR INDECENT EXPOSURE
At about 1:10pm, on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, officers from Area D-14 (Brighton) responded to a radio call for an altercation in the area of at 209 Kelton Street. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated the suspect entered her office and began complaining about his living arrangements. The victim is the person in charge of the building where the suspect resides. The victim stated the suspect came into her office complaining that someone had thrown away property belonging to him. According to the victim, the suspect then pulled his pants down and mooned the victim. The victim stated that she was in fear of her safety. In short time, officers located the suspect in the area of the original altercation. However, when the suspect saw the officers, he began to verbally disparage and disrespect them. It was clear to the officers that the suspect was in an agitated state and when officers approached, the suspect spit at them and fled on foot.
In short time, officers were able to catch up to and re-locate the suspect. While riding along Commonwealth Avenue, officers were flagged down by female passer-by who stated that an individual, looking like the suspect, had just run by her screaming profanities and spitting on people.
When officers approached, the suspect initiated a physical altercation. After a brief struggle, officers were able to subdue the suspect.
Officers arrested Tomas Wright, 44, of Boston and charged him with Indecent Exposure and Resisting Arrest.
