HOMICIDE VICTIM IDENTIFIED
About 4:35pm, on Thursday, May 20, 2010, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to 795 Washington Street in Dorchester for a person shot. On arrival, officers located a 24-year old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, suffering from life-threatening injuries, was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced. The victim has since been identified as Jihad Watters, 24, of Boston.
The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with any information regarding this incident, no matter how small or minor it may seem, is urged to contact the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
