At approximately 11:09pm, on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan), responded to a radio call for a body found inside 71 Norwell Street. Upon arrival, officers oberved and located a black male suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced.

The victim has been identified as Nathaniel Taylor, 22, of Mattapan.
