At about 11:00am, on Thursday, November 12, 2009, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a body found in the area of 69 Clifford Street in Roxbury. On arrival, officers located a black male inside the location suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced on the scene. The victim has since been identified as Carl Bonnie, 39, of Boston.

Subsequent to this incident, homicide investigators developed evidence leading to probable cause that suspects, Gregory Knight, 28, of Lewiston, ME and Trevor Higgins, 36, of Boston were responsible for assault leading to the murder of the victim.

On December 1st of 2009, members of the Fugitive Apprehension Squad responded to Lewiston, ME and arrested suspect, Gregory Knight who has been arraigned on the charge of Murder.

This morning, members of the Fugitive Apprehension Squad successfully located and arrested the second suspect involved the murder, Trevor Higgins on an outstanding Roxbury Court warrant for Murder.
