At about 12:47am, on Saturday, July 25, 2009, officers from Area D-14 (Brighton) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed at the intersection of Commonwealth and Harvard Avenues. On arrival, officers observed and located an unconscious male (in his 50s) lying on the ground suffering from what appeared to be multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to the Beth Israel Hospital where he’s being treated for life threatening injuries.The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
