DAILY INCIDENTS FOR MONDAY, JULY 20, 2009

Robbery Victim Drives Armed Suspects to Police Station…Two Men ArrestedOn Sunday, July 19, 2009 at approximately 8:08am, officers exiting the D-4 (Lower Roxbury) station, observed a vehicle travel onto Plympton Street the wrong way from Harrison Avenue continuously blowing its horn. Officers proceeded towards the vehicle to investigate the matter further. While doing so, they observed a black male jump from the sliding door while the vehicle was still moving. The unknown male fell to the ground but quickly got up and began walking away from the officers. This individual was stopped as well as the vehicle.
Officers spoke with the male operator who informed them that he was just robbed at knife point by the two men in his vehicle. He went on to state that he picked them up in the area of Albany Street when the backseat passenger held a knife to his throat and stated, “Get your money.” The victim then handed over Sixty-dollars and observed the suspect place it in his back right pants pocket. The victim then noticed the police station and attempted to get the officers attention by blowing his horn.
Officers located the victim’s currency in the suspect’s rear pocket as well as a knife. The victim was able to identify the knife as the one held against his throat.
Officers arrested Paul Leshore, 47, of Boston on the charges of Armed Robbery and Assault & Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (knife) and Franco Simmons, 26 of Boston on the charges of Armed Robbery.
Three Arrested for Breaking into Cars
On Sunday, July 19, 2009 at approximately 2:24am, officers assigned to Area C-11 (Dorchester), responded to 17 Rosselerin Road for a B&E motor vehicle in progress. Officers arrived on-scene and located the caller who informed them that three males were observed walking up the street checking cars doors. The caller confronted the suspects and they fled the area. A description of the suspects was then broadcast to responding units.
Officers observed one of the vehicles to have its passenger side door wide open and the contents appeared to be rummaged through. The vehicle’s owner was located and stated it didn’t appear anything was missing.
A search of the general area produced three youths, fitting the description given by the caller, in the park on Adams Street. The witness was brought to the park for the purpose of identifying the suspects. All three suspects were positively identified and placed into custody.
Officers arrested a 14 year-old, Asian male from Boston, a 14 year-old, Asian male from Boston and William Le, 17 year-old, Asian male from Boston on the charges of Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle (night).
