DAILY INCIDENTS FOR SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2008

WHEN TOLD TO GO .. RETURNING IS USUALLY NOT AN OPTIONAt about 8:50pm, on Friday, October 24, 2008, an officer performing a paid detail in the area of the Orpheum Theater observed an individual who was asked to leave the location by theater staff. Upon leaving the location, the suspect returned to the area after being told not to do so. Upon seeing the suspect, officers approached him and informed him that his returning to the location after being asked to leave could result in his being arrested for trespassing. After being informed and advised of this situation, the suspect began to verbally abuse and physically threaten the officers. Specifically, the suspect balled his fists and stated, “You’re not the real police! I’ll mess you up!”
Officers arrested Joseph Kincad, 27, of Boston and charged him with Trespassing and Being a Disorderly Person.
BATTLE OVER HEAT LANDS ONE IN POLICE CUSTODY
At about 11:18pm, on Thursday, October 23, 2008, officers from Area C-6 (South Boston) responded to a radio call for verbal dispute between two roommates in the area of 23 Howell Street. On arrival, officers spoke to the landlord of the location who said his tenants were fighting about heat. Officers spoke to roommate #1 who stated he turned the heat on because of the cold weather. However, roommate #2 wasn’t cold, so, according to roommate #1, roommate #2 approached the thermostat and disabled the unit by snapping a wire inside the thermostat. Officers observed damage to the thermostat. When officers spoke to roommate #2, the individual began yelling and screaming at the officers. Specifically, the suspect, while flailing his arms, stated that his roommates were spies and the whole incident was a conspiracy against him.
Officers arrested Lu Qinsheng, 37, of Boston and charged him with Being a Disorderly Person and the Willful & Malicious Destruction of Property.
