re: Sentencing of Jose OrtizA police officer involved in a criminal narcotics enterprise is more than reprehensible. The disgraceful actions of Jose Ortiz betrayed the public trust and the Boston Police Department. His lengthy federal prison sentence speaks for itself. Boston Police continues to vigorously identify and root out police corruption and misconduct. Such activity will not be tolerated by our department.
