THREE ARMED ROBBERS ARRESTED IN ROXBURYAt about 1:35am, on Tuesday, October 16, 2007, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a fight in the area of 550 Parker Street. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that three individuals approached him, said they had a gun and demanded his money. Victim also told officers that the suspects hit him in the head with a bottle. A short time later, officers located three individuals fitting the descriptions provided by the victim. Officers then arrested Wince Smith, 27, of Roxbury; Jefferson Charles, 26, of Dorchester and Tyrone Goforth, 26, of Roxbury and charged all three with Armed Robbery.
GUN ARREST MADE IN THE SOUTH END
At about 10:03pm, on Monday, October 15, 2007, officers from Area D-4 (South End) and members of the Area D Neighborhood Drug Unit observed a motor vehicle believed to be in the process of transporting drugs in the area of Massachusetts Avenue. When the vehicle came to a stop, officers approached the occupants as they were exiting the motor vehicle. While speaking to the occupants, officers noticed that all of the suspects appeared to be very nervous. Sensing that the suspects were looking for a means of escape, the officers called for additional units. With backup officers on scene, officers began to search the suspects. One of the suspects was found to be in possession of a black firearm. As a result of the discovery, officers arrested Enrique Cabrera, 24, of Southbridge and charged him with the Unlawful Possession of a Firearm & Ammunition.

At about 8:40pm, on Monday, October 15, 2007, officers from Area C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a Larceny in Progress at the Walgreen’s Pharmacy at 130 Bowdoin Street. On arrival, officers spoke to store officials who stated that a group of teens, who previously had been ban from the store, entered the store and stole several items, primarily candy. Officers put out a description of the suspects over Channel 6 of the police radio. Members of Bowdoin Safe Street Team soon located four individuals fitting the descriptions provided by store officials. After the suspects were positively identified by store officials, officers arrested a 16 year-old male from Boston and three 15 year-olds from Dorchester, and charged all four with Shoplifting.
