DAILY INCIDENTS FOR SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2007

STABBING SUSPECT ARRESTED IN THE SOUTH ENDAt about 12:05am, on Saturday, September 22, 2007, officers from Area D-4 (South End) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed at 73 Hemenway Street. On arrival, officers located an individual suffering from a stab wound. Before being transported to the Boston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, that individual gave officers a description of the suspect. According to the victim, the suspect was a white female in her 20’s, wearing a black shirt, black pants and a red hat. A short time later, officers were able to locate an individual matching the description provided by the victim. That individual was positively identified by witnesses. Officers then arrested Melissa Nitsche, 34, of Brighton and charged her with Assault & Battery By Means of a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
DOWNTOWN STABBING LANDS ONE IN CUSTODY
At about 2:00am, on Saturday, September 22, 2007, officers performing a paid detail in the area of Chatham Street on Area A-1 (Downtown) were notified of a disturbance in front of the Hong Kong Bar at 65 Chatham Street. On arrival, officers observed a number of people fighting. Officers were then told that one of the individuals involved in the fight was carrying a knife. Officers located the individual carrying the knife and immediately ordered the suspect to drop the weapon. Officers then arrested Anthony Vickers, 30, of Mattapan and charged him with Assault & Battery By Means of a Dangerous Weapon (Knife). While on scene, officers located an individual suffering from a stab wound. Before being transported to Mass General with non-life threatening injuries, that individual positively identified the suspect as the person who stabbed him.
LOUD PARTY LANDS ONE IN CUSTODY
At about 12:30am, on Friday, September 21, 2007, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for a loud party at 137 St. Alphonsus Street. On arrival, officers could hear loud music coming from the aforementioned address. Officers also observed a large group of people gathered on the 2nd floor of the location. Upon gaining entry to the apartment, officers observed a number of people drinking alcoholic beverages. One of the individuals was underage. As a result, officers arrested Craig Lee, 22, of Roxbury and charged him with Procuring Alcohol for a Minor.
