Firearm Recovered Three ArrestedYesterday morning at 2:05am, a member of the mobile operation unit was in the area of Washington Street and Mora Street when he heard a broadcast for a person with a gun at 91 Mora Street. The suspect was described as wearing a white t-shirt and had a gun.
The officer observed a grey vehicle driving away from 91 Mora Street towards Washington Street at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was pulled over and stopped at 45 Mora Street. As the officer approached the vehicle he observed five male in the motor vehicle and asked the driver where he was coming from. The driver stated that he was coming from a baby shower up the street. The suspect then held out a baby show gift and stated, “See I have a shower gift”. The officers also observed a male in the back seat fitting the description that was broadcasted.
Three Dorchester residents were arrested. Jean Toussaint, 17, was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a Loaded Firearm, Possession of a High Capacity Feeding Device and Possession of Class D.
Hansey Lafond, 20, was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a Loaded Firearm, Possession of a High Capacity Feeding Device, Possession of Class D and Operating after Suspension or Revocation.
Kenneth Vickers, 17, was charged with Possession of a Loaded Firearm, Possession of a High Capacity Feeding Device, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
Two Arrested At Fenway
Yesterday at 12:45pm, officers from District D-4 were performing a paid detail at Fenway Park. A male who asked the officer if he was looking for tickets approached the officers on Lansdowne Street near Ipswich. The officer asked the suspect what he had for tickets and the suspect stated he had two tickets that he would sell for one hundred and twenty five dollars each. Robert Locchi, 48, of Boston was arrested and charged with Occupying Public Street without Permit, Hawkers and Peddlers Failure to Register and Resale of Tickets.
Yesterday at 2:40pm, officers from District D-4 observed a suspect selling two Boston Red Sox ticker for seventy dollars. John Green, 37, of Swampscott was arrested and charged with Occupying Public Street without Permit, Hawkers and Peddlers Failure to Register and Resale of Tickets.
Five Arrested in Stolen Vehicle
Yesterday around 6:17pm, officers from District B-3 responded to a radio call to investigate a motor vehicle at Dunlap and Washington Streets. On arrival the vehicle had already left but officers were informed that the vehicle was last seen making a right turn from Talbot Avenue onto Millet Street. Officers observed the vehicle on Millet Street and conducted a traffic stop. Officers were advised that the vehicle was possibly a vehicle that was carjacked the night prior in District C-11.
A 13-year-old female of Dorchester, 12-year-old female of Readville and 16-year-old female of Dorchester were arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Motor Vehicle. The 15-year-old juvenile female of Dorchester was arrested and charged with Unarmed Robbery, Carjacking, Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon and Assault and Battery. Ebony Monteiro, 17, of Dorchester was arrested and charged with Unarmed Robbery, Carjacking, Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon and Assault and Battery.
Suspect Arrested On Outstanding Warrant For Failing to Stop for police
Yesterday at 6:45pm, officers from District D-4 were on patrol in the area of Shawmut Avenue. Officers observed three males standing on the corner of Ball Street and Washington Street. The three males yelled over to the officers as if to engage in conversation. Officers approached the three males and introduced themselves. All three of the males identified themselves to the officers. After a brief conversation both parties went there separate way. Further investigation revealed that one of the suspects had an outstanding warrant. Jonathan Melo, 20, of Dorchester was arrested and an outstanding warrant for Failure to Stop for Police.
