DAILY INCIDENTS FOR SUNDAY, JUNE 3, 2007

HIT AND RUN IN ROXBURYAt about 7:51pm, on Saturday, June 2, 2007, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person on a bicycle struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of Judson Street and Julian Street. On arrival, officers observed a black male lying on the ground. The victim was immediately transported to the Boston Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition. Witnesses say they observed a black SUV leaving the scene after striking the victim. Officers located the suspect vehicle a short time later and towed the vehicle for evidentiary reasons. No arrests have been made in this incident.
FOUR JUVENILES ARRESTED FOR DOING THE WRONG THING
At about 9:26pm, on Saturday, June 2, 2007, officers from District D-4 (South End) responded to a radio call for a robbery in progress at the intersection of Boylston Street and Park Drive. According to the victim, he was attacked by a large group of kids (approximately 12-15 kids). Victim told officers that the kids threw him to the ground and demanded his wallet. En route to the call, officers observed a small group of kids fleeing the area. Officers stopped those individuals for questioning. While questioning the suspects, the victim was brought to the scene where he was able to positively identify the individuals being detained by the officers. Officers then arrested a 15 year-old male from Roslindale, a 15 year-old male from Roxbury, a 14 year-old male from Dorchester and a 16 year-old male from Roxbury and charged all involved with Assault to Rob Unarmed.
ONE LESS GUN IN ROXBURY
At about 11:00pm, on Saturday, June 2, officers from the Youth Violence Strike Force observed a large group of kids drinking in public in front of 62 Holworthy Street. When officers approached the group, a number of individuals walked into the rear of the above address. As officers followed, one of the officers observed an individual walk behind an unknown female and attempt to pass her what appeared to be a firearm. However, when the individual attempted to do so, the unknown female quickly moved away from him. Officers then arrested David Borden, 17, of Dorchester and charged him with the Unlawful Possession of a Firearm & Ammunition.
