Multi-Agency Effort Nabs Two Suspects with 1 Kilo of CocainePursuant to investigation, officers from the Boston Police Department, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Massachusetts State Police arrested two suspects from 53 St. Andrews St. and charged them with Trafficking Class B.
Officers first responded to 53 St. Andrews and found suspect, Hernan Berrio, 27, of East Boston after learning that he was in possession of a large amount of drugs determined to be cocaine. The suspect was charged with Trafficking Class B. After placing the first suspect in custody, officers later determined that there was a second suspect involved, and later placed suspect, Julio Restrepo, 23, of East Boston charging him with Possession of Class B, and Trafficking Class B.
Suspects Arrested with “Fruits of the Crime”
At approximately 8:44pm, yesterday, officers from District D-4 arrested a 16-year-old from Roxbury and 17-year-old Jean C. Pena, of Dorchester and charged them with Armed Robbery.
Officers initially were dispatched to the area of 108 Peterborough St. for a robbery involving a firearm. On arrival officers met and spoke with the victim who reported that he was approached by two individuals while walking home. The victim that one of the two suspects approached him and put his arms around his shoulder and stated “Come take a walk with me, I think I know your brother.” The victim resisted the suspect’s advances and told the suspect that he did not have a brother. At this point, one of the two suspects lifted his shirt and displayed a firearm in his waistband. The suspects then took the victim’s jacket and fled.
Officers broadcast the description of the suspects while they were getting information from the victim, and were soon alerted that Northeastern PD had two individuals matching the suspects’ description. The victim was able to positively identify the suspect who was wearing his stolen jacket. Both suspect were placed under arrest and transported to the station.
Governor’s Auto Task Force Nabs Car Thief
This morning around 10:38am, officers from The Governor’s auto Task Force comprised of Boston Police Officer’s, and Massachusetts State Police Officers arrested suspect, Milre Henry, 44, of Dorchester and charged him with Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle.
Officers were first alerted to this car when they observed it traveling on Normandy St. in Dorchester. Check of the registration revealed that the car had been reported stolen since April 1st, 2007. The motor vehicle was then followed until it pulled over on Lawrence Ave. in Dorchester. With the assistance of other responding units, the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
