At approximately 5:39pm, on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot at 495 Warren Street in Roxbury. Upon arrival, officers located Jerome Wells, 20, of Boston suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he later succumbed to injuries.An alert officer in the vicinity witnessed part of the incident, radioed for assistance and broadcast a description of the suspect’s vehicle. Two individuals were stopped in the described vehicle several blocks away from the incident. As a result of the motor vehicle stop, two suspects were taken into custody and a firearm was recovered from Antonio Llamas, 19, of Malden. Llamas will be charged with Murder and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. Nathaniel Greene, 22, of Roxbury was arrested and will be charged for being an Accessory After the Fact. Both will be arraigned tomorrow in Roxbury District Court.
SHOOTING ON AMES STREET IN DORCHESTER
At approximately 5:15pm, on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for shots fired on Ames Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located two victims, both suffering from gun shot wounds. The 1st victim, a male in his 20’s, was transported to Boston Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries. The 2nd victim, a 27 year-old female was also transported to the Boston Medical Center where she was treated for a gun shot wound to her leg.
