Daily Incidents For May 9, 2007

Juvenile Arrested with FirearmYesterday at 6:20pm, officers from District 11 responded to a radio call for a person with a gun at 442 Talbot Avenue. The suspect was described as a black male with a red hat, white t-shirt, and black jeans, red/white sneakers on a purple and white bike. As officers turned onto Talbot Avenue they observed the suspect, matching the description riding away from Talbot Avenue towards Welles Avenue. Officers observed the suspect jump off of the bike and run into a store at 466 Talbot Avenue.
Officers spoke with the victim who stated she was outside when the suspect approached and asked for her son. The victim asked the suspect what he wanted and he stated he just wanted to talk. An argument ensued and during the argument the suspect lifted his shirt and displayed a firearm. A 15-year-old juvenile male of Dorchester was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Carrying a Loaded Firearm and Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon. Officers did recover a firearm from the suspect.
Two Arrested For Breaking and Entering
This morning at 1:11am, officers from District 4 responded to a radio call for a breaking and entering in progress at the corner of Arlington and Marlborough streets. The caller informed officers that he observed two suspect sneak through a hole in the fence and enter the construction site. Officers observed the two suspects inside the building near the basement window. Maxwell Trauss, 21, of Philadelphia and Thomas Knight, 22, of Somerville were arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering.
