Breaking and Entering Caught on Fire EscapeAt 12:55am, officers in District 4 (South End) responded to a radio call for someone on the fire escape at 110 Newbury Street. On arrival, officers observed the suspect on the second floor front fire escape and he could not get down. The suspect stated to officers that he was running from two unknown men so he scaled a security fence around a fire escape and climbed up four stories, went over the roof and came down the fire escape on Newbury Street. The victim stated when she went to her bedroom and turned on the light she observed the suspect at her window. At that time the suspect banged on the window to be let in. Sean Symmes, 28, of Winthrop, was arrested and charged with Attempted Breaking and Entering.
Pedestrian Struck at Cambridge Street and Harvard Avenue
At 1:31am, officers from District 14 (Brighton) responded to a radio call for a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle at Cambridge Street and Harvard Avenue. On arrival, officers observed the victim being treated by Boston EMS. The victim was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital and is in critical condition.
Person Stabbed in Dorchester
This morning around 4:00am, officers in District 11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed at 658 Washington Street. On arrival, officers observed the victim being treated by Boston EMS. The victim sustained multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center for treatment. The victim is in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
