DAILY INCIDENTS FOR APRIL 4, 2007

SUSPECT GETS HIS WIRES CROSSEDAt about 1:17am, on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, officers from District C-6 (South Boston) observed an individual unloading what appeared to be copper wire from the trunk of his car. In addition to the above, the individual’s motor vehicle was double-parked. When officers asked the individual about the copper wire, the individual told officers that he was an electrician working at the Shraft building in Charlestown for the past month. However, when asked where the building was located, the suspect stated he didn’t know. The suspect also stated that he took the wire without permission from his boss. Officers then arrested Michael Denn, 36, of South Boston, and charged him with Larceny (over $200.00).
SERVICE NOT RENDERED
At about 2:00am, on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, officers from District D-4 (South End) responded to a radio call for an assault & battery in progress at 666 Boylston Street. On arrival, officers spoke to an individual who told officers that he was approached by a female who, according to the individual, offered him sex for a fee of 15 dollars. The individual further stated that he agreed to the fee and then proceeded to hand the money to the female suspect. The individual then stated that the suspect took off down the street. Officers located the female suspect and arrested Krystal Jalbert, 22, of Boston, and charged her with Unarmed Robbery. As for the victim, he was summonsed into court for seeking Sex for a Fee.
FAILING TO STOP NEVER A GOOD THING
At about 5:30pm, on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, officers from District A-7 (East Boston) observed what appeared to be a drug transaction in the area of Maverick Square. Officers observed an unknown black female approach a motor vehicle and hand money to the operator. In exchange for the money, the unknown black female was given an unknown object. The unknown black female then entered a black sports utility vehicle. As a result of the transaction, officers then attempted to stop the black SUV. However, when they attempted to do so, the black SUV failed to stop. Fifty feet later, the black SUV did come to a stop. When it did, officers arrested Michael Rosemond, 38, of South Boston, and charged him with Driving to Endanger & Refusing to Submit to a Police Officer.
