DAILY INCIDENTS FOR MARCH 21, 2007

SHOOTING SUSPECT APPREHENDEDAt about 6:39pm, Tuesday, March 20, 2007, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for shots fired at 15 Franklin Hill Avenue in Dorchester. On arrival, officers spoke to multiple witnesses who stated that they saw 2 men fighting, and then, heard 2 shots fired. While on scene, officers were then told that one of the men, the individual believed to be the shooter, was hiding in an apartment at 11 Franklin Hill Avenue. Officers then located Jacques Flowers, 19, of Dorchester hiding in the bathroom. Witnesses identified Flowers as the shooter. Officers then arrested Flowers and charged him with Assault & Battery By Means of a Dangerous Weapon (Gun), Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Unarmed Breaking & Entering.
ARRESTED FOR ARMED ROBBERY
At about 1:56am, Wednesday, March 21, 2007, officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) were stopped by a limo driver who stated that he had just been robbed at gunpoint. The victim further told officers that the suspects (2 hispanic males) ran down Montebello Road. Officers then conducted a search of the area with the victim. While searching the area along Washington Street, the victim told officers, ”That’s him! That’s him!” Officers then arrested Erving Sanchez, 25, of Jamaica Plain and charged him with Armed Robbery.
ARREST MADE FOR SOLCITING A PROSTITUTE
At about 2:15am, Wednesday, March 21, 2007, plain-clothes officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) observed a woman, known to be a prostitute, talking to an individual in a van at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Maywood Street. Officers then pulled their unmarked cruiser along side the van. The operator of the van, however, did not immediately see the officers. As such, officers heard him say to the female, “Come on honey .. get in.” However, when the operator of the van finally saw the officers, he began yelling at the female, “Get out of my car!” The operator of the van then attempted to speed off, with the female hanging onto the motor vehicle. Officers then activated their emergency equipment (lights & sirens) and stopped the van. Officers then arrested Stephen Trotman, 50, of Dorchester and charged him with Soliciting Prostitution and Driving to Endanger.
