Daily Incidents For March 18, 2007

Breaking and Entering of a BusinessYesterday morning at 10:35am, officers from District 4 responded to a radio call for a breaking and entering at 117 E Berkeley Street. On arrival officers spoke with the caller who stated he arrived at 9:40am to open up the pub and found it had been broken into. Officers checked all entryways for a sign of forced entry and found the rear door leading out to an alley had been pried open. Officers also observed a two-wheeler in the alley which the caller identified as the one usually stored behind the bar. Several bottles of alcohol, a television and an ATM machine were taken.
Six Arrested in Operation Deep Freeze
Operation Deep Freeze was conducted on Saturday in the Downtown area making a total of six arrests. This operation is an organized plan that uses undercover officers from District A-1 and the Drug Control Unit to arrested drug dealers. Officers were in the area due to recent complaints from area residents and business owners about drug dealers in the neighborhood. Bobby Brantley, 31 of Roxbury was arrested for Distribution of Class B, and Distribution of Class b within 1000’ of a School Zone. Jose Alberto, 42, of Dorchester was arrested for Distribution of Class A, and Distribution of Class A within 1000’ of a School Zone. Isabel Negron, 49, of Roxbury was arrested and charged with Distribution of Class A within 1000’ of a School Zone. Robert Stroud, 42, Boston was arrested Distribution of Class B, and Distribution of Class B within 1000’ of a School Zone. Grace Belrose, 24, of Boston was arrested for Distribution of Class B, and Distribution of Class B within 1000’ of a School Zone. Derric Tavares, 36, of Dorchester was arrested for Distribution of Class B, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B within 1000’ of a school Zone, Possession with Intent Class B and Possession of Class B.
Six Arrested After Being Ejected From Concert
Yesterday at 4:45pm officers from District 14 responded to a radio call for assistance at Harry Agganis Arena for a large unruly group that had been ejected from the Dropkick Murphy concert. Officers observed several large groups congregating in the area and loudly protesting their ejection. Officers gave the suspects several opportunities to leave but they refused. Officers advised them to leave or they would be arrested. One of the suspects punched and kicked several security guards. Gregory Ginsburg, 20, of Norwell; Mathew Aizenstadt, 19, of Norwell; Thomas McNichols, 18, of Boston; Paul Appleton, 24, of Lynn were all arrested and charged with Disorderly and Trespassing. Also arrested was Peter Whitford-Downing, 29, of Belmont and charged with Assault and Battery, Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon and Resisting Arrest.
Two Arrested After Fist-A-Cuff in front of Police Station
This morning around 3:36am, officers responded to a call for a fight in front of the District B-3 Police Station. Upon exiting the front door of the station officers observed both of the suspect engaged in a loud argument on the sidewalk. As officers announced their presence both parties began punching each other. Jamal Robinson, 30 and Joseph Alverez, 30, both of Dorchester were arrested and charged with Assault and Battery and Disorderly.
