Today, March 14, 2007 around 3:53pm, officers from District B-2 responded to the intersection of Centre St. and Highland St. for a person shot. On arrival, officers located a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center by E.M.S. with life threatening injuries and rushed into surgery. The victim, however, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.This incident is currently under investigation and any individual with information relating to this incident is strongly encouraged to contact the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
