Suspect Arrested in House BreakAt about 6:45am on March 7, 2207 officers from District 11 responded to a report that a house was broken into at 17 Beaumont Street. On arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that while she was asleep an unknown person(s) did break the glass panel on her rear door to the kitchen and gained entry into the house. At this time the victim only reported her purse containing credit cards and a bag containing school papers.
On March 12, 2007 detectives from District 11 arrested Robert Aldrich, 45, of Dorchester and charged him with Breaking and Entering and receiving Stolen Property. Detectives were able to recover the victim property that was reported stolen on March 7, 2007.
Three Arrested After Drug Investigation
As a result of a drug investigation conducted by members of the Area B-2 and B-3 Drug Control Unit, a search warrant was obtained from Roxbury District Court for an address on Alpine Street. Jesus Chavez, 20, Roxbury and Arnaldo Diaz, 24, of Dorchester were arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A. Also arrested was Uriah Sheet, 26, of Roxbury and charged him with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Possession with Intent to Distribute and Dangerous Weapon Unlawfully Carried. Recovered and seized were personal papers, a loaded firearm, currency, scale, as well as numerous bags of heroin, cocaine and marijuana.
Men arrested on gun charges after speeding off from police
At about 10:35 pm, Monday, District 3 officers were on patrol traveling south on Washington St. when they observed a vehicle make a left hand turn onto Washington St. without signaling. Officers subsequently activated their lights and sirens and conducted a traffic stop at 6 School St. Officers asked the operator for his license and registration, and he became agitated and stated that he would not get out of the car, while stuttering his words and flailing his arms. Officers then asked the operator to turn off the vehicle, a request to which the man initially complied before quickly restarting the vehicle and speeding off down School St. toward Harvard St. Officers followed in their cruiser and informed operations of the situation. As they followed the suspects, officers observed their motor vehicle crash into a fence at the corner of Spencer and Harvard. Officers then observed both suspects exiting the vehicle and run down Spencer St. Officers were informed that the suspects were observed standing in the alley between 22 and 24 Thane St., which is directly behind where the suspects had gone on Spencer St. Officers observed the suspects at that location, attempting to conceal themselves by standing with their backs against the wall. Officers ordered both suspects to show their hands, orders that were ignored by both. Officers approached one of the suspects, and he became belligerent, pushing one of the officers. He followed by flailing his arms and fighting with officers further. Officers were able to gain control of the suspect and place him into custody. Other officers had placed the other suspect into custody during the struggle. Officers also recovered a loaded firearm in front of 8 Spencer St., directly along the path that the suspects had taken. The suspects, Peter Fanfan, 20, of Dorchester, and Jorge Orlando Gomez, 20, of Dorchester were arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, respectively.
Person Stabbed on Columbia Road
Las night around 10:53pm, officers from District 2 responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in front of the Dunkin Donuts on Columbia Road. On arrival, officer spoke with victim who stated while walking towards Dunkin Donuts an unknown suspect who stabbed him in the right shoulder and fled the scene approached him from behind. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center and treated for a non-life threatening injury
