Suspect Arrested After Shelving Firearm in Corner StoreLast night around 8:40pm, officers from the Youth Violence Task Force arrested Quentin Finch, 17, of Roslindale and charged him with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
Officers were on patrol in the Washington Street area of Roslindale when they observed two individuals at the corner of Washington St. and Claxton St. As officers approached, one of the individuals quickly entered the store. Officers entered the store and observed the suspect fidgeting with something in his hands. The suspect quickly walked to the back of the store as officers approached. Officers followed the suspect to the rear of the store, observed the suspect hiding something on a store shelf, and heard what sounded like metal hitting the shelf. Officers checked the area where they had observed the suspect hiding the unknown object and there discovered a firearm.

Around 10:42pm last night, officers from District 14 responded to a radio call for a removal of an intoxicated, disorderly patron at the Sports Depot Bar at 335 Cambridge St. in Allston. Officers approached the suspect and noticed that he had bloodshot eyes, and slurred speech. Officers spoke to the suspect and explained that management wanted him to leave due to his intoxicated state and disorderly conduct. The suspect refused, stating “You Americans wonder why the whole world hates you!” The suspect continued his verbal tirade against officers stating “You think because I’m Irish you can racially profile me?” The suspect refused to leave after numerous demands and had to be escorted out of the bar kicking and screaming as onlookers listened to his barrage of obscene language. Suspect, Michael L. McCormack, 26, of Everett was arrested and charged with being a Disorderly Person, and Trespassing.
Suspect Caught on Closed Circuit TV Stealing
This morning around 1:30am, officers from District 4 were conducting a licensed premise investigation at Saint’s Bar/90 Exeter St when a victim approached them and reported that her purse had been stolen. The victim reported that she was at the bar with friends when she briefly turned away and looked back to find her purse missing. Officers walked through the bar and located the victim’s purse hidden behind an ottoman. The purse was returned to the victim, and almost immediately thereafter officers were informed that there was a videotape of the incident available for viewing. Officers viewed the tape and observed suspect, Charles P. Williams, 32, of Dayton, WA. take the victim’s purse when she briefly turned her back. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with Larceny from a Person. During the booking process the suspect stated “I was teaching her a lesson.”
