Daily Incidents For February 10, 2007

Person Shot in RoxburyYesterday around 2:36pm, officers in District 2 responded to a radio call for shots fired at 30 Abbottsford Street. On arrival offices located ballistic evidence in the area of 18 Abbottsford Street. Officers were informed that a person had been shot at 18 Abbottsford St. Officers located the victim at the intersection of Wardman Road and Walnut Avenue. The victim stated while he was seated inside of a motor vehicle he was shot in the elbow. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center and treated for a non-life threatening injury.
Victim Robbed of Cell Phone in Charlestown
Yesterday around 3:00pm, officers in District 15 responded to a radio call for a robbery report at 3 Thirteenth Street. On arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated at 1:50pm near the Newtown Convenience Store a black male wearing a ski mask pointed a gun at her and demanded her cell phone. The victim handed the suspect her cell phone and he fled on foot into the Charlestown Projects.
“Alabama Slamma” Arrested for Disorderly
Last night around 11:52pm, officers in District 4 responded to a radio call for a person grabbing females at 291 Huntington Avenue. On arrival officers spoke with witnesses who stated that a black male with a goatee was harassing female customers and causing a disturbance inside and outside of 291 Huntington Avenue. The witnesses stated that the suspect was physically preventing females from leaving the store and was walking freely down the street and gyrating his hips. Officers proceeded to the market and observed the clerk trying to get a black male to leave the store. Travis Palmer, 44, of Boston (aka Alabama Slamma) was arrested and charged with Disorderly.
