Beer Lands Two In JailYesterday morning around 1:10am, officers in District 6 responded to a radio call for an assault in progress at the Junction Bar, 110 Dorchester Street. On arrival officers were informed the two suspects, one described a white male wearing a red jacket and the other wearing a grey jacket just fled on foot down Dorchester Street. Officers spotted the two suspects and tried to detain them at he corner of E 4th Street and Dorchester Street. As officers approached the two suspects they began walking away and refused to stop for officers. Both suspects were combative as officers attempted to handcuff them, pushing and pulling officers. Officers spoke with the manager who stated that they were getting ready to close up the bar when they observed a group of males trying to exit the bar with a bottle of beer. They were told that they had to leave the bottle inside when the group began yelling obscenities at the employees. As one of the employees approached the group, one of the suspects grabbed a tall metal cigarette stand and struck the first victim. At that time when fellow employees went to the aid of the first victim, the same suspect picked up a beer bottle and threw it in the direction of the bar striking a second victim. Two South Boston residents Sean Regan, 24, was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon, Resisting Arrest, and Assault and Battery on a Police Officer. Robert Noonan, 22, was arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer and Disorderly Conduct. Both victims refused medical attention.
Armed Robbery of Variety Store
Last night around 9:28pm, officers in District 14 responded to a radio call for an armed robbery at 138 Tremont Street. On arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated a white male and a second suspect entered the store and milled around for about ten minutes. After about ten minutes the suspect walked out of the store and immediately returned to the store. The suspect with his T-shirt pulled up over his face with only his eye revealed pulled out a gun and demanded money. The suspects fled with undisclosed amount of money in an unknown direction.
Five Arrested For Trespassing
This morning around 1:29am, officers in District 1 while on patrol observed five individuals in the foyer of 285 Tremont St. There have been numerous complaints by the residents about people smoking, drinking, urinating and sleeping in the foyer. Officers have made numerous arrests before for trespassers in this foyer. One of the suspect stated to officers that they were waiting for someone to bring them drugs. Trevor Gibson, 17, of Quincy; Holly Laffery, 18, homeless; Anthony Bellos, 40, of Boston; Quinton Sanders, 25, of Randolph and Derick Green, 43, of Roxbury were all arrested and charged with Trespassing.
