Three Arrested for Gun PossessionLast night around 7:15pm, officers in District 14 responded to a radio call for a person with a gun at the Gulf Station at North Beacon and Market Streets. Officers were informed that a male occupying a silver vehicle pass a gun to another male occupying a dark gray or dark blue vehicle. Shortly after officers observed a dark colored vehicle fitting the description that was broadcasted traveling on Market Street. The vehicle pulled in a Dunkin Donuts parking lot and the occupants began to exit the vehicle. As officers approached the vehicle they observed furtive movement inside the vehicle by the rear seat passenger when the suspect observed the mark cruiser. Jose Alicea, 19 of Hyde Park, Japhet Mendoza, 18 and Axel Plaza, 21, both of Brighton were all arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition. Officers did recover a firearm from the suspects.
Victim’s Beaten and Robbed by Gunpoint
Last night around 8:25pm, Members of Mobile Operation were in the area of Bowdoin Street and Geneva Avenue when two victims that were bleeding and visibly shaken approached them. Both victims stated that three suspects at Geneva Avenue and Olney Street beat them up. One of the victim’s went on to state that the suspects had guns and beat him with the gun and one of the other suspects brandished a knife. The victim stated he ran from the suspects after his back pack was taken. Officers broadcasted a description of the suspect and they were located on Washington Street. The victim’s positively identified the suspects. Dominique Grady, 17, of Dorchester and a 16 year-old juvenile male of Dorchester were arrested and charged with Armed Robbery, Assault and Battery by means of Dangerous Weapon and Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon. Officers did not recover a firearm from the suspects.
