Five Suspects Arrested for Trafficking, Close to 300 Grams of Cocaine Seized

1) At approximately 10:02pm last night, officers from the Boston Police Drug Unit conducted a traffic stop of a motor vehicle at Brookway Road and Sycamore Street. This stop was conducted as part of an investigation. The operator initially attempted to drive from officers upon being approached but was successfully stopped. Officers approached the car and observed in plain view what appeared to be two bags of cocaine. Officers arrested both occupants of the car after making a determination that the bags contained cocaine. Suspects, Felix Fagundo, 44, of Charlestown and Angel Solis, 44, of Roxbury were both arrested and charged with Trafficking Class B. The recovered drugs, weighing in excess of 45 grams, in addition to close to $1,000. and several cell phones were seized from the suspects. The suspects will be arraigned at West Roxbury District Court on Monday.2) Yesterday around 10:30pm, Boston Police officers from the Drug Unit arrested Armando Morales, 29, of Hyde Park, Angel L. Encarnacion-Delos, 27, of Keasby, and William Laboy-Rodriguez, 24, of Hyde Park and charged them with Trafficking Class B, and Possession Class A with Intent to Distribute and Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, officers conducted surveillance on a specified car and conducted a traffic stop of that vehicle at Georgetowne Drive and Margaretta Drive. There, officers based on their experience and training determined that the car had a secret compartment. Officers, specializing in locating secret compartments, responded to the scene and successfully located the secreted compartment. In that compartment, officers recovered and seized over 200 grams of cocaine, and a substantial amount of heroin. In addition to the recovered drugs, officers seized close to $2,000. in currency and several cell phones from the suspects. The suspects will be arraigned at West Roxbury District Court on Monday.
