The condition of the 24-year-old male from Dorchester is now listed as non-life threatening. Suspect Arrested in Laundromat in Brighton
Police from District 14 responded to 549 Washington Street this morning after a male opened a knife and gestured toward a victim and then lit a bag on fire. The suspect was located, and after a violent struggle was arrested by officers. Police charged Mark Spagnuolo, 49, of Dorchester with Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon, Resisting Arrest, Disturbing the Peace, and Trespassing. He will be arraigned in the Brighton District Court.
Officer on Walking Beat Arrests Suspect in Dudley Triangle
This morning at about 11:09am, an officer assigned to District 2 observed a female strike an unknown male in the chest and proceed to lift her shirt exposing herself in front of the Liquor Store. Police arrested Madina Clayton, 46, of Roxbury and charged her with Indecent Exposure. She’ll be arraigned in the Roxbury District Court.
Charlestown Car Wash Vandalized
The owner of the Car Wash located at 150 Alford Street in Charlestown reported to police today that an unknown person attempted to break into a change machine at the car wash. Officers observed damage to the change machine as well as damage to the video camera. The suspect is described as a middle aged white male wearing a knit hat, blue hooded jacket, and a purple and blue scarf. The suspect remains at large while Detectives investigate this incident.
Mother and Son Attacked in East Boston
At about 8:15pm on the 26th of December, a 49-year-old female from East Boston along with her 19-year-old son were leaving a Chinese Food Restaurant on Meridian Street when four unknown suspects attacked the two. The son yelled for the mother to flee while he remained at the scene fighting the four suspects. He later returned home with a torn jacket and was unable to provide police with a description of the suspects.
