This afternoon at about 5:05pm, officers from District 1 responded to 77 Monument Street on a report of shots fired. On arrival officers discovered a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds outside that location. Boston EMS responded and transported the victim to the Massachusetts General Hospital where he was pronounced.Boston Police Homicide Investigators are currently on scene and leading this investigation.
