POLICE SEEKING MURDER SUSPECT

The Boston Police Department is asking for the public\’s help in locating a murder suspect.On Tuesday December 5, 2006 at approximately 9:39pm, officers from District 11 responded to 91 Florida Ave. On arrival, officers observed two victims suffering from apparent gun shot wounds. One victim was pronounced at the scene and the second victim was transported to a local hospital, where he is being treated. The deceased victim has been identified as Myles J. Lawton, 62, of Dorchester.
Homicide investigators have identified the suspect as Michael S. Collins. As a result of ongoing investigative efforts, detectives identified Collins as the suspect and were granted an arrest warrant from Dorchester District Court charging Collins with Murder, Assault with Intent to Murder, and Armed Robbery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon.
