At 12:35am on Saturday, October 14, 2006, officers from District 11 responded to a radio call for a person shot outside of 225 Bowdoin Street. On arrival officers located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. EMS transported the victim to Boston Medial Center where he was pronounced as a result of his injury. The victim has been identified as Adilson D. Barros, 23, of Dorchester. The cause of death has been determined to be multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death is considered a homicide.Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance and urge anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470 or to remain anonymous call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS.
