Armed Robbery of Hess Gas StationYesterday around 4:58pm, officers in District 5 responded to a radio call for an armed robbery at Hess Gas Station at 5315 Washington Street. On arrival officers spoke with the victim who stated an unknown black male entered the store and displayed a handgun. The suspect took unknown amount of cash and fled the scene. Officers searched the area for the suspect to no avail.
Shots Fired in Area of Dale Street and Regent Street
Last night around 8:46pm, officers in District 2 responded to a radio call for shots fired. On arrival officers located ballistic evidence on Rock Street. Officer also observed bullet holes in the rear window on Rockland Street. Many residents did report hearing multiple shots being fired. There were no reports of injuries.
Drug Arrest Made After Traffic Stop
Last night around 9:46pm, officers in District 3 arrested two individuals for drug possession. While on patrol in the area of Washington and Park Streets a motor vehicle with a missing registration sticker and a broken brake light. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The operator of the vehicle pulled to the right but continued to travel several feet before coming to a stop. As the motor vehicle was coming to stop officers observed the passenger reach down to her feet. Officers were concerned that she might be attempting to conceal a weapon or contraband. Mathew Mullen, 19, and Kristi Wark, 22, both of Quincy were arrested and charged with Drug Possession. Officers did recover drugs from both suspects. Mullen was also issued a citation for equipment violation and no registration sticker. Wark also had an outstanding warrant for Operating after Revocation or Suspension out of Quincy District Court.
