Boston Police seek to inspire young people to good citizenship through an appreciation of the role of law enforcement in our community
WHO: Mayor Thomas M. Menino; Boston Police Acting Police Commissioner Albert E. Goslin; Boston Red Sox President & CEO Larry Luccino; participants of the Junior Police Academy and their families.
WHAT: The Boston Police Department will host an appreciation ceremony to honor the most recent participants of the 10th Annual Boston Police Junior Police Academy. All junior recruits, accompanied by their parents or guardian, will receive recognition for their successful completion of the one week program designed to provide youth with an inside look at local law enforcement, the duties that they perform and the encounters they face on a daily basis.
