Officers from District 2 patrolling Warren Street near the Roxbury District Court heard shots fired from the area of Regent and Akron Streets at about 12:14am Saturday morning. As the officers approached Regent Street they observed a motor vehicle on Warren and Moreland Street that had crashed into an unattended parked car. Inside the vehicle the officers observed Eddie Rowell, 21, of Dorchester suffering from a gunshot wound.
