Wanted Bank Robber Arrested in Roxbury

This morning at about 10:19am, detectives assigned to the Boston Police Special Investigations Unit, agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigations Bank Robbery Task Force, and officers from District 2 responded to 426 Blue Hill Avenue in Roxbury attempting to locate a suspect wanted for a Bank Robbery that occurred on August 21, 2006 at 1628 Tremont Street in Roxbury.Armed with an arrest warrant the officers were granted consent to search the apartment to locate Dana Brown who was wanted on numerous warrants. The officers were greeted at the door by Brenda Hill, 39, of Brockton who pushed a Detective twice and attempted to block an agent from walking down a hallway. Police found Dana Brown, 33, of Roxbury hiding under a bed in the apartment who was taken into custody without incident. Police then attempted to arrest Brenda Hill who struggled with officers and resisted their attempts to handcuff her. After a brief struggle, she was arrested and transported to District 2 along with Brown.
Hill was charged with Assault and Battery on a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest. Dana Brown was charged with a straight warrant from the Roxbury District Court for Unarmed Bank Robbery, a Roxbury District Court Default warrant for Drug violations, and a Cambridge District Court Warrant for Unarmed Robbery. Both suspects will be arraigned in the Roxbury District Court on Tuesday morning.
