Loud Party Ends In ArrestThis morning around 12:30am, officers in District 2 observed a large crowd gathering in front of 1472 Tremont Street. Officers attempted to disperse the crowd and observed several individuals drinking alcohol outside of the residence. Laura Klimek, 19, of Lexington; Alison Romano, 19, of New York were arrested and charged with Drinking Alcoholic Beverages in Public and Possession of Alcohol Beverages by Person Under 21. Also arrested was Jeffery Paradis, 21, of Maine and Brian Howlett, 19, of Connecticut were arrested and charged with Drinking Alcoholic Beverages in Public.
Charlestown Victim Scares Away Suspect
Officers from District 15 responded to a Green Street address this morning at 1:06am after the residents heard a loud crash in the dining area. The victim observed an unknown male looking in the broken window. The suspect was described as a white male wearing a hoody who fled the scene and dropped a large piece of wood while running toward Hancock Street. District 1 detective as investigating this incident.
One Arrested After Home Invasion
At about 1:19am, officers in District 14 responded to 19 Harriet Street in Brighton on a report of an armed home invasion. Officers spoke with the victim who stated he just got off the phone with a friend who was on the way over to see him. The victim stated he heard a knock at the door and without looking he opened the door. The victim reported two suspects rushed in with weapons in their hands demanding money. The suspect’s took the victim’s wallet and fled the scene in the victim’s car. The abandoned motor vehicle was recovered at 75 Faneuil Street. The victim positively identified the suspect. Police arrested John Brennan, 34, of Brighton and charged him with Home invasion.
Shoplifter Arrested in East Boston
Two bags of Shrimp valued at about $40 a bag were stolen from the Shaw’s Supermarket in East Boston yesterday morning at about 10:00am. Officers from District 7 responded and spoke with security for the store that had caught the suspect conceal the two bags. Police arrested Michael Bright, 47, of East Boston and charged him with shoplifting and trespassing. Bright will be arraigned in the East Boston District Court.
